Welcome to Impact Academy
Impact Academy is a private K-12 school dedicated to serving children with special needs across our two locations.
Our 8,000 sq. ft. Seffner facility features eight classrooms, a sensory gym, and specialized therapy rooms. Our South Tampa facility, located near MacDill AFB, offers over 11,000 sq. ft. of space with similar high-quality amenities. We serve students ages 4–22, helping them achieve academic and social goals through individualized plans, adaptive curricula, and communication technology.
We accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA), the Florida Tax Credit (FTC), and private pay. More information is available through Step Up for Students or the AAA Scholarship Foundation. If your child currently has an IEP at a public school, we would be happy to discuss their matrix scores and the benefits of transitioning to our program.
Additionally, Impact’s Transitional Life-Skill Center (Impact’s TLC) provides day training for adults 18 and older, focusing on life and job skills, academics, and fitness. You can find more details at www.impactstlc.org.
We are also preparing to open Impact’s Home on the Ranch in Plant City, FL, a residential facility situated on 3.2 acres that will eventually house several clients and farm animals.
Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit.
What is different about Impact Academy?
We get it
The families that have developed the mission/plan for our program are not only well-established professionals in the community, but also the parents of special needs children.
Small Classes
Our staff is comprised of experienced teachers with backgrounds in special education. Our low student/teacher ratios allow us to focus on academics as well as functional living skills.
ABA Companies
With three behavioral companies exclusive to our campus as well as speech and occupational services, our students receive support in various areas as needed.
Our Mission Statement
Impact Academy’s mission is to provide a place where children and families are happy to belong and reassured with positive and frequent communication. To ensure that both academic and personal life skills are taught with an exceptional level of love and professionalism. Facilitate a nurturing and safe environment while aligning ourselves with other community programs. recognize the differences in each child’s ability and set goals and assessments accordingly.
