About Impact Academy

We are a privately owned k-12 special needs children’s school with two convenient locations. The Seffner facility is a not for profit 8,000 sq. ft. building with 9 classrooms. This location also has an amazing sensory gym, large cafeteria/assembly area, home economics program, quiet room, therapy rooms and much more. Our second location is in South Tampa is a for profit and just minutes from the Crosstown and near McDill AFB. This facility is over 11,000 sq. ft and also boasts all the same things that the Seffner location has as well as a transitional training program.

Our up and coming transitional training program (18 years and up):
Independence is something that is important to all of us. Our day service program will assist the people we serve in preparing to achieve greater independence so that they may lead the lives they choose. We will focus on life skills, job skills, continued academics as well as communication. Our training facility strives to attain the greatest degree of independence for each individual.

Impact Academy serves children ages 5 – 22. We understand that each child is different and capable of achieving their academic and social goals at varying times. Success is obtainable by developing an individualized plan for your child’s needs, incorporating the use of technology for communication in conjunction with an adaptive curriculum. Impact Academy will accept the McKay and Gardiner (PLSA) scholarships, (www.floridaschoolchoice.org) and private pay. If your child currently attends a public school and have an IEP, we will happily speak with you regarding your child’s matrix scores and explain the financial/academic benefits available to you when transferring to a private school.
